The biggest garbage problem in Austria: Austrians do not see a serious problem when it comes to pollution.
However, the reality is different - Austria is one of the cleanest countries in Europe, but the problem of litter should not be underestimated. On average, people consume about 115 kilograms of plastic and 70 beverage cans per year, and some of it ends up in nature.

Global2000 and the Alpine Club therefore launched a campaign where they want to draw attention to precisely this problem and activate people - by means of an app that is supposed to identify these garbage hotspots so that they can then take targeted action against them.

The app can be used to photograph trash and mark the particularly dirty spots.
In this way, the population is not only made aware of the pollution problem, but can also participate directly in its elimination and make a valuable contribution to Austria's environment.

Reichl und Partner is proud to have supported Global 2000 in this campaign.

The launch of the Austria-wide campaign started at the beginning of June and included print ads, freecards, NaturPutzer stickers and online banners.

Austria's first NatureCleaners Day took place on June 11, 2017. GLOBAL 2000, the Alpine Club sections Gebirgsverein and Edelweiss and many volunteers went out into nature on Father's Day to collect trash and test the specially developed NaturPutzer app.
This year, the event took place for the first time at the Sophienalpe in Vienna and in Ober-Grafendorf in Lower Austria and is to be continued next year.
