My name is Dino Talic, I am a graduate engineer of Information Technology and I come from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have been working at REICHLUNDPARTNER Digital as Head of WordPress Development since 2016. I describe myself as a team player, able to work under pressure and communicate well, and I love working in a team and sharing knowledge. Also, I’m always in a good mood when the weather is right 😉
What exactly are you responsible for in this job?
As Head of WordPress Development I am responsible for the technical design and implementation of websites with WordPress. I also work on ongoing support and updates to existing wordpress sites. Of course, the permanent search for new methods and solutions must not be missing.
What does a typical working day look like for you?
I park my car in the underground garage, switch on my laptop and check my new mails with a good coffee. Afterwards, I briefly coordinate with the account to find out if there are any urgent things to do before the daily routine begins.
How was your first week working for this employer?
I was very nervous because of the transition to a new culture, language and country, but it was still very exciting to start working in a multicultural team. However, my nervousness and fear were quickly taken away by my super colleagues.
What has been your favorite professional highlight so far?
Participating in WordPress Camp Vienna and WordPress Camp Porto as well as meeting new collaborators and making new friends.
What tip would you like to give to other young talents?
Never give up on your dream and give it a chance. The right time comes for everyone – be determined and look ahead!
