Job Description

We would like to expand our expertise in Search Engine Marketing area and are looking for a person who is willing to take the lead for this task. Specifically, we are looking for a technically savvy Search Engine Marketing Specialist to manage our PPC marketing campaigns. As an SEM specialist, you will need to conduct or analyze keyword research, implement pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and measure performance.

To be a successful SEM specialist, you should have a strong understanding of SEA and SEO techniques as well as an excellent understanding of marketing. A top SEM specialist should be able to accurately interpret keyword and ranking research and implement marketing campaigns that maximize the company’s ROI on paid advertising.

Responsibilities of the Search Engine Marketing Specialist:

  • Building and establishing SEM competence in the company
  • Coordinates with design, copywriting and marketing team to develop ideas and define advertising requirements
  • Research on keywords, consumer trends and competing brands
  • Analyze and interpret research and analytics data to support marketing strategy
  • Design and develop online marketing campaigns to maximize search engine returns and website traffic
  • Implementation of PPC advertising campaigns and SEO best practices
  • Monitor SEM analytics such as referrals, click-through rates, and customer acquisition rates
  • Manage and adjust PPC budgets to ensure maximum ROI on paid ads
  • Coordinate with designers and editors to ensure all content complies with SEO best practices
  • Prepare performance reports and analysis for presentation and review
  • Stay up to date on the latest developments in search trends, PPC strategies, and SEO best practices

Requirements for the Search Engine Marketing Specialist:

  • A degree in digital marketing or a related field of study
  • Leadership skills an advantage
  • At least two years of experience as an SEM Specialist or similar
  • Google Ads Certification
  • Knowledge of using analytics and PPC platforms such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager
  • Strong understanding of SEO and SEM techniques and best practices
  • Experience with a variety of search engines, including Google, Bing, and Yahoo
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript advantageous
  • Experience with a variety of content management systems such as WordPress
  • Excellent research and analytical skills
  • Experience with Hubspot an advantage
  • Excellent computer skills with programs such as MS Office and Google Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary:

Depending on training and professional experience, an annual gross salary from 40.000 Euro is to be expected.
