An innovation of a special kind and the entry into the digital age is offered by the Austrian cult brand PEZ from 2016 under PEZ PLAY. With PEZ PLAY, the classic PEZ products become an exciting and interactive experience on cell phones and tablets, and can thus be experienced even more intensively by children and also by adults who love to play. Each game can be easily downloaded for free via a code and then nothing stands in the way of digital gaming pleasure.

PEZ PLAY will be presented for the first time and exclusively at the International Confectionery Fair 2016 in Cologne: "With PEZ PLAY, PEZ once again proves that the brand keeps its finger on the pulse. The digital games allow us to give old values of the cult brand a new zeitgeist and thus make them even more attractive, we connect generations with it!" Angry Birds and Bricks Breaking

The first game to be launched under PEZ PLAY will be a PEZ-Angry Birds Mini Game. PEZ is the exclusive partner of ROVIO and all PEZ Angry Birds dispensers will have a so-called Bird Code on them from spring 2016 - to coincide with the release of the movie - with which you can access the new PEZ game free of charge.

As a further development step, a second app game, Bricks Breaking in the iconic PEZ design, will be released in the second half of 2016. Other fun, iconic and also educational games will be included for free with the purchase of PEZ Candies in the future, bringing additional product benefits and lots of fun for consumers.
