During the 16th International Confectionery Congress in Berlin, the SWEETS GLOBAL NETWORK awarded the "Sweet Star" prize for the best and most dedicated confectionery departments out of 50 participants. This year, Maximarkt Anif was the first Austrian participant to take home the coveted trophy. In the "Supermarkets over 2,500 square meters" category, Maximarkt took the silver award.

2,100 items from international brands and chocolate specialists of smaller companies, convinced the jury in the 130 square meters of the Maximarkt department. Product range design, seasonal promotions and the staff's advisory skills are just a few of the criteria that went into judging the award winners, along with the department's sales and economic development in recent years. With its love of confectionery and passion for making the sweet world even more beautiful and customer-friendly, Maximarkt Anif was able to prevail over the international field of participants.
