Gmundner Keramik is back in the black and can look back on a very pleasing 2014. This success is made up of many individual pieces of the mosaic and cannot be derived from a single action. "Although the general market situation was very difficult last year, we can look back on a successful 2014. Our consistent efforts and investments in the brand have paid off, and we will continue on this successful path," explains Jakob von Wolff.
The company recently repositioned itself with investments in the mid-six-figure range - including in the service area. In terms of distribution, the specialist trade is the mainstay, as well as the tableware trade in the large upscale furniture stores.
The company history of Gmundner Keramik began more than half a millennium ago. At that time, the "Hafnerhaus am Graben", which later became the Gmundner Keramik Manufaktur, was first mentioned in a document. It was then that the "green-flamed" design, still so famous today, was created. Gmundner Keramik leads the domestic market in the tableware segment. In Austria, Gmundner Keramik has an awareness level of 87% in this area.
