Born in 1974 in beautiful Salzburg and blessed with fast legs, Christian spent most of his first 2 decades on the track. After a serious injury and the resulting career end, all he had left was an old Hasselblad to express his feelings. After his apprenticeship and assistantships abroad, Christian has been working as a freelance photographer at home and abroad since 2002. His work focuses on intimate portraits of personalities from the music, art and sports scene such as Tobias Moretti, Radiohead, The Crysta Fighters or
triple jump Olympic champion Christian Taylor as well as image campaigns for clients such as Nike, Li Ning, Rover, Porsche, Paul Green, Mala Alisha or Jette Joop.
His pictures have appeared in renowned magazines and daily newspapers such as GQ, The New York Times, WELT and Rolling Stone and have graced several
album covers!
