Talent Story

Lidia,
Account Manager

Getting a little better every day and always looking ahead - that's my motto. My name is Lidia Lang and I have been working as an Account Manager at REICHLUNDPARTNER since December 2023. Before that, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Global Sales and Marketing at the FH Steyr and my Master's degree in Export and Internationalization Management at the WU in Vienna.

What are you responsible for?

Put simply, I am an interface for everyone. Client consulting begins with calls and appointments with clients who commission us with new projects or seek our advice. The collaboration then extends to creative work, interim presentations and a successfully completed project.

The exciting thing is that I have customers from a wide variety of sectors – that brings a lot of variety and you get to know a wide range of projects.

What does a typical working day look like for you?

A typical working day for me starts with greeting my colleagues. Then I grab a carafe of water and, of course, my beloved coffee. After that, it’s time to check emails, get an overview of the upcoming appointments and then work through the to-dos. During the lunch break, we often eat together with our colleagues and exchange ideas. Then it’s back to customer inquiries, project management, etc.

What opportunities does your employer offer for career starters and young talents?

As I am at the beginning of my career myself, I can report first-hand. After a well-structured induction phase in which you take on responsibility early on, there is plenty of room for personal responsibility and learning by doing. This allows you to develop your own way of working with the customers and to continuously surpass yourself.

What do you think makes your employer unique?

At REICHLUNDPARTNER, I particularly appreciate the versatility of the projects and the opportunity to work in a dynamic team. A lot of emphasis is placed on innovation and creativity, which makes the work exciting and varied. The mixture of different clients and projects ensures that it never gets boring and that you can always face new challenges.

What have you learned for the future at this employer?

I learned how important it is to be flexible and adaptable. This has allowed me to improve my customer service skills. I also now know how to communicate and collaborate with different stakeholders. These experiences have helped me both professionally and personally.
