The press briefing on March 4 was very well received by the press.

Specialisterne Austria is accompanied by the agency pro bono. Founded in 2011, the association's goal is to help as many people as possible from the autism spectrum find employment in the primary labor market, using the internationally proven Danish model as a model.

Specialisterne was founded in 2004 by Thorkil Sonne - a father whose son received an autism diagnosis in infancy. Due to the low chances of people with autistic perception to find a job and to work for companies, Sonne decided to dedicate himself to this topic. Specialisterne is currently present in more than 12 countries worldwide with its own organizations, including the USA, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, but also Spain or Poland.

"In Austria, there are about 80,000 people with autism, of which about one in three has Asperger's syndrome," explains Michael Obermeyr, managing director of Reichl und Partner Public Relations. "It's also a fact that people with autism often have special talents that companies need. Yet these potentials are largely lost. The goal is to work with Specialisterne to draw attention to the extraordinary abilities of people with autism and to show companies the added value of cooperation."
