Radland NÖ and REICHLUNDPARTNER secure 2nd place in the Austrian Road Safety Award for the “Give me a moment!” campaign

As part of the Austrian road safety award Aquila – an initiative of the KFV (Austrian Road Safety Board), the Austrian Association of Municipalities and the Austrian Association of Towns and Cities, outstanding projects and initiatives to increase road safety on Austria’s roads were honored. The “Give me a moment” road safety campaign designed by REICHLUNDPARTNER impressed the high-caliber jury of traffic experts and specialists and won second place in the “Companies” category. The campaign awarded by the KFV deals with potentially dangerous situations in road traffic. In view of the diversity of means of transport and road users, mutual consideration and visibility are becoming increasingly important. The central message “Give me a moment” emphasizes the importance of brief eye contact, which can prevent misunderstandings and ambiguities.

Susanna Hauptmann from Radland NÖ was delighted with second place and emphasized the importance of the right moment in road traffic: “It all depends on the moment: the moment in which the traffic situation is decided and the look that you exchange with the other person. We summarize both aspects succinctly and invitingly with the campaign statement: “Give me a moment”, accompanied by a sympathetic pair of eyes.” The campaign subjects show a wide variety of situations from the perspective of different road users and raise awareness of attentive behavior in road traffic. The province of Lower Austria and Radland Niederösterreich wanted to use an “eye-catching” campaign to remind people of precisely this view.
