Austria on Foot is an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology, is managed by klimaaktiv mobil and aims to encourage more people to walk.
Walking is healthy, improves quality of life and is also more social than any other form of mobility. With our “Will you walk with me?” campaign, we are focusing on the joy of walking and the shared activity. With our headline mechanics, we use various possible answers to encourage people to walk in everyday life. This also shows that it doesn’t necessarily have to be long distances. Even short walks – for example to the bus stop or just part of the way to work – have a positive effect on well-being.
The main thing is to walk.
The website created by REICHLUNDPARTNER Digital is also worth a visit. It offers event tips, a download area and more, and also scores points for its accessible design in accordance with the WCAG 2.2 guidelines and the EU standard EN 301 549. This new standard for public institutions will also apply to the private sector from June 2025. The online campaign on the Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels is managed by our social media agency SMC.
