So it's no wonder that PR experts attach great importance to the press photo. The importance of images in press relations is also underlined by current studies. The survey "Recherche 2012 - Journalismus, PR und multimediale Inhalte" ("Research 2012 - Journalism, PR and multimedia content") conducted among 1,400 journalists shows that every second journalist uses PR images on a daily basis.

The study was commissioned by the dpa subsidiary news aktuell.
