Fuschl/New York. Salzburg-based beverage company Red Bull is reported to have agreed to a settlement payment of 13 million US dollars (around ten million euros) in the USA as a result of a class action lawsuit over deceptive advertising. This was reported by Austrian media with reference to the US consumer protection website "Consumerist".

In its report, the "Consumerist" again refers to "BevNet," a media company specializing in the beverage industry. Accordingly, the settlement already took place at the end of July this year in New York Federal Court. APA has not yet been able to obtain a statement from Red Bull.
