Smurfit Kappa Nettingsdorf is a company of the globally active Smurfit Kappa Group and one of the Group’s largest European sites. Founded in 1851, the company is now one of the leading producers of corrugated base paper in Europe. Environmentally friendly, perfectly recyclable corrugated base papers are produced from the renewable raw material wood.
Strategy
The largest construction project in the history of Smurfit Kappa Nettingsdorf – the new energy plants – which are part of the “Future Energy Plant” project, was accompanied by RuP PR in the media since the groundbreaking ceremony in 2018. From the start of construction until the successful commissioning in June 2020, the local, regional and trade media were continuously informed about the current construction progress.
