Initial situation

A new face

Akari creates natural products that provide beautiful skin and a pleasant feeling of life. The family business produces for so-called practitioners who pamper their customers with Akari cosmetics, color oils and much more. To emphasize the effectiveness, naturalness and innovation of the products, Akari commissioned REICHLUNDPARTNER to carry out a brand relaunch.
PR work was also to be used to build awareness of Akari among both journalists and the general public.

Strategy

Nature’s Secret

The term Akari comes from Japanese, which is why we designed a new logo and gave it a subtle Asian touch. As Akari uses the ancient knowledge of the local culture and brings people closer to the healing (sometimes forgotten) natural resources, we created the slogan Nature’s Secret. We also developed a state-of-the-art design for over 300 product labels and packaging. Because Akari uses the old alchemical knowledge, but transfers it to the present and stands out for innovative products.

From the PR side, Akari is to be positioned as THE expert for natural cosmetics in Austria and Germany.

Implementation

Everything shines in new splendor

In addition to the labels and packaging, Akari’s new appearance is reflected in an attractive, well-structured website, the programming and texting of which was handled by REICHLUNDPARTNER eMarketing or advertising agency. The latter also wrote and designed a noble Akari sales folder, which presents the numerous products in the new design.

Through one-on-one meetings, REICHLUNDPARTNER Public Relations organized interviews between Akari and leading beauty and lifestyle journalists to give them an up-close look at Akari’s products.
