Just now the right tools.

The current situation, due to COVID-19, forces the majority of us to do our work in our own homes. It is essential to be networked with colleagues at all times in order to be able to work as efficiently as possible as in the regular workplace.
REICHLUNDPARTNER recommends three tools that will make it easier for you to work from home.
Zoom
Zoom is a video conferencing solution that allows up to several hundred people to participate in a video call simultaneously. The business model is based on a free version and subsequent subscription versions. While in the free version the duration of the call is limited to 40 minutes, in the paid versions the time limit is increased to 24 hours. Subscription prices start at €13.99 per month per presenter for small teams and go up to €18.99 per month per presenter for medium and large companies.
Tip: With virtual backgrounds, you can easily swap your home office for a sandy beach, sunset & co. - there are almost no limits to your creativity.
To activate the feature, simply open the Zoom application and select the "Virtual background" function under Settings. You can choose an image from the pre-selection as a background, but also add images from the local hard drive that can replace your background. All the best, stay healthy.

Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams is a messenger application included in the Microsoft Office 365 package. The heart of the tool is the chat, where members can exchange information with each other. If there is a need for larger discussions with several people, you can also create larger chat groups, so-called "teams". But Microsoft Teams can do even more: calls as well as meetings can be started, files can be stored and the tool also offers access to other Office and Microsoft tools. For example, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint are already integrated into Teams. These systems are interconnected and do not require extra payment.

Microsoft OneDrive
OneDrive is a cloud storage service from Microsoft, where your data is not stored on a local hard drive, but on the cloud provider's server. All you need to use the tool is a free Microsoft account. OneDrive allows you to store different types of files, synchronize them and share them with other people and devices. As a user, you have 5 GB of storage space at your disposal for free. Those who need more storage will have to access Microsoft's OneDrive for Business or Office 365 offerings.
