Nationwide coverage in Germany, the most important kitchen market in Europe

STRASSER Steine currently has ten employees in Germany. Until now, STRASSER Steine was already strongly represented in Germany and achieved sales of several million euros in Bavaria alone.

Long term planning

The backbone of the expansion into Germany was the long-term planned capacity expansion of the natural stone plant in St. Martin im Mühlkreis in recent years and the acquisition of new machinery. "The capacity expansion in St. Martin and the new machines were necessary prerequisites to transfer the market success from Austria to Germany," Artmayr explains the strategy. The number of employees is also to be expanded from 180 at present to 200 in 2020.
