Initial situation
Since 1991 Plastrans has been the commodity trader for chemical raw materials and sustainable solutions. As a one-stop store, the company facilitates the procurement of polymers for its customers and offers them customized, end-to-end logistics or financing solutions. With success: The internationally active family company continuously strives for improvement – not only when it comes to finding environmentally friendly raw material alternatives, but also in the context of its communication.
Strategy
REICHLUNDPARTNER was allowed to help position the company as a thought leader and a doer. The claim “Turning visions into reality” was developed for this purpose, as Plastrans already offers high-quality recycled and biodegradable plastics and plans to expand this area even further.
Implementation
To make abstract concepts such as chemical substances and compounds more tangible, the new subjects combine two objects – at least one of which is made of plastic that can be manufactured by Plastrans. The idea of building bridges is reinforced by the verbal bracket “Wir verbinden” or “We connect”. It shows that Plastrans not only produces compounds in the chemical field, but also combines aspects such as quality, product diversity, sustainability, innovation and team spirit in the company. In addition, the wording indicates that Plastrans is well connected beyond the German-speaking region to the EMEA region.
