Digital Days: A successful premiere

A full house yesterday, Wednesday, at the OÖN Forum of the Promenaden Galleries in Linz: The Digital Days of the OÖNachrichten celebrated their premiere and attracted scene experts from all over Austria. More than 200 interested people came to the first day of the conference.

The focus yesterday was on the basics of digital marketing. Participants were given an overview of marketing opportunities on the web, such as influencer marketing, web analytics and social media. Advertiser Rainer Reichl from the Linz-based agency Reichl & Partner spoke about digital transformation, Robert Gmeiner about e-mail marketing at bookseller Thalia. The OÖN presented its activities in the online sector. Today is the second day of the Digital Days, and the program includes presentations by experts from Adidas, Borussia Dortmund and Runtastic.

How far along is Upper Austria in general in terms of digitization? The OÖN mingled with the audience for this question.

Mag. Rainer Reichl was one of the speakers on site  and gave a presentation on "Digital Disruptions and Design Thinking". The fundamental question was - how will digital transformation change our business models in the near future? In the course of the presentation,  explained the Design Thinking model - which is considered a solution approach for business strategies of the future.
