Blagovesta Bakardjieva lives and works as an illustrator in Vienna.
She has received several awards for her work in editorial and advertising, for magazine and magazine covers. These include the Josef Binder Award and a nomination for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2008.
She has been teaching illustration at the Art University Linz since 2009. As an illustrator she works for Cosmopolitan, Palmers, Stiefelkönig, Bahlsen, Bipa, Visa, Vienna Fashion Night, Wienerin, Wiener, Raiffeisen Bank, Die Presse and many more.
