VIENNA. Reichl and partner Public Relations accompanies the non-profit association Specialisterne Austria since beginning of February. The association, which has set itself the goal of helping as many people as possible from the autism field to find employment in the labor market, has the internationally proven Danish model as its model.

Michael Obermeyr, Managing Director of Reichl und Partner Public Relations, explains: "In Austria, there are about 80,000 people with autism, of whom about one in three has Asperger's syndrome. It is also a fact that people with autism often have special talents that companies need. Nevertheless, these potentials are largely lost. The goal is to work with Specialisterne to draw attention to the extraordinary abilities of people with autism and to show companies the added value of cooperation."

Specialisterne works out the extraordinary abilities and promotes them; companies as well as employees with autistic disability are accompanied by the association through trainings, workshops and coaching.Reichl und Partner can fall back on experiences in the non-profit sector, among others from projects with "Menschen für Menschen", "Beat Cancer", "Rettet das Kind Oberösterreich", "UNHCR" and "Stones for Life".
