Initial situation

This partnership has been working since 1993.

REICHLUNDPARTNER and Honda Austria have been working together successfully for many years. When the new “Honda Central Europe” unit including the countries Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary was formed in 2014, it was time to shift up a gear. Since then, REICHLUNDPARTNER has been allowed to run regular communication campaigns in all four countries and to implement a wide variety of advertising materials.

Strategy

Motivated by the power of dreams.

The brand stands for “The Power of Dreams” – so it’s clear that communications are constantly conveying how the company is breaking new ground with the help of innovative technologies. Honda’s hybrid and electric vehicles not only offer driving pleasure, but also contribute to a cleaner environment. The vision of an emission-free world is reflected in the current communication.

Implementation

Increasing efficiency in the region is a key objective of Honda Central Europe.

To achieve this, international Honda campaigns are adapted and cross-national advertising materials are designed. In terms of campaign idea and layout, a uniform appearance is used in all four countries, with regional focuses such as promotional activities then being integrated in the details.

Efficiency is rewarded: This is also proven by the Effie in Gold for a Civic campaign in Austria, in which different units of REICHLUNDPARTNER worked hand in hand.
