New York (Aug. 18, 2014) - VICE Media is proud to announce its Emmy Award-winning series VICE on HBO in the Outstanding Informational Series or Special category. The Emmy Award is for the second season of VICE on HBO, which boasts longer episodes and new, award-winning correspondents, such as documentary filmmaker and writer Ben Anderson (No Worse Enemy) and filmmaker and producer Vikram Gandhi (Kumare). VICE on HBO was recently renewed for two more seasons, each airing in 2015 and 2016.
The previous year, the show was nominated in the Emmy category for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series. VICE on HBO is produced by Bill Maher, Shane Smith, Eddy Moretti and BJ Levin, with Fareek Zakaria serving as consulting producer.
